Therapy Sessions
My Approach

Talking to someone about very personal things takes a lot of trust. I focus on a Person Centred therapeutic relationship, keeping you at the centre of your therapy and providing you with non-judgement, autonomy and respect. My approach is 'Integrative', this means that I am able to draw upon a multitude of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Creativity Therapy, Relaxation or Mindfulness if you feel they may help you during your sessions.

About me

I am a fully qualified and insured professional Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide affordable private and confidential counselling based within the South Hams, Devon.

What is Counselling?

Sometimes life can feel hugely overwhelming, or upsetting and frustrating and we may not feel like we can cope. Memories or emotions may be affecting your day to day life, you could be feeling "stuck", or you may want to change some of your behaviours or habits. Using a confidential, private space to sound things out, or express how you feel to a professional who is there for you without judgement, can really help your well-being. Your therapist is not there to solve your problems for you and tell you what to do, but they are there to help you understand yourself better, and to help you make the changes you wish to make, for the better.

Lots of people come to counselling for different reasons. Below are a few examples that some people may want to work with during their sessions:

1.

Anxiety

2.

Self Esteem

3.

Depression

4.

5.

Anger

Stress
